So, you're working from home, taking on all the hats, and wondering how on earth you're supposed to juggle it all without turning into a little ball of chaos? Trust me, I’ve been there. Working from home usually means you're not just the CEO of your business, but also the chef, cleaner, teacher, and everything in between. If you're a mom, you've got even more hats to wear. Homeschooling? Add a few more hats. Suddenly, it feels like you’re doing it all, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But here's a reminder: Take a deep breath. You are not failing. You are doing great.

It might sound a bit crazy coming from a stranger on the internet, but believe me, I’ve been in your shoes. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to drown out all the noise (including that little voice in your head) and find a schedule that works best for you and your family. Not what you see when you go down the rabbit hole of endless scrolling on social media.
Yes, I have pretty pictures on my socials, but trust me, it’s not always that way. I have laundry that stacks up too. It took me a while to find a routine that worked, and even now, we still change it up sometimes. Flexibility is key.
Here are a few tips that helped me along the way:
1. Find Your Rhythm
Everyone’s routine is different, so find what works for you. Maybe it’s waking up early before the kids to get some focused work done, or perhaps it’s taking advantage of the quiet evenings to dive into your tasks. Your routine doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s—it’s about discovering what aligns with your energy, priorities, and lifestyle. Once you find your rhythm, own it unapologetically and make it yours.
2. Set Boundaries
Create clear boundaries between work and home life. It’s tempting to keep working, especially when home and office are in the same space. But setting aside dedicated time to unplug and recharge is essential. Whether it’s carving out time to connect with loved ones, enjoying some “me time,” or simply stepping away to enjoy life’s smaller moments, honoring these boundaries can help you feel more balanced and reenergized. Your family, your friends—and most importantly, your mental health—will thank you.
3. Embrace the Chaos
Some days will be chaotic, and that’s okay. Embrace it as part of the journey. The dishes can wait, the laundry isn’t going anywhere, and the world won’t end if everything isn’t perfect. Chaos is often a sign that life is full and vibrant. Give yourself grace to pause, breathe, and prioritize what truly matters in the moment.
4. Get Help
Whether it’s enlisting a friend to lend a hand with errands, teaming up on a task with a neighbor, or reaching out to family for guidance or support, you don’t have to navigate everything alone. Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a smart strategy to lighten your load and stay focused on what truly matters.
5. Celebrate Your Wins
Take time to celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Managed to get through a Zoom call without interruptions? High five—you deserve a round of applause for that ninja-level focus! Wrapped up a big project? Treat yourself to something that makes you smile, whether it’s a coffee break (check out our favorite coffee drink on Benable), a favorite snack, or just a moment to bask in your own awesomeness. Recognizing and celebrating the little victories keeps you motivated, and before you know it, those small wins will add up to something amazing.
Remember, you’ve got this. You are amazing, capable, and doing a fantastic job. So take a deep breath, put on that boss babe hat, and keep shining. 🌟
